Annual or biennial herb of 30 -70 cm heights.

Aerial part.

In Central and Eastern Europe, Egypt, in temperate climate of Asia.

As weed on open space.
Period of collection:
August – September.
Collection method:
Manual; transportation to production site within 3-12 hours.
Material processing:
Steam distillation, for receiving essential oil.
Storage:
Dry clean space.

Features of the oil:
Antihelminthic, wound healing, diuretic; stimulate uterine activity.
Indications:
Amenorrhea, epilepsy, helminthiasis, hurts, urolithiasis.
Possible usage:
Pharmaceutics, in perfumery for aromatization and enrichment of massage oils, soap, cosmetic masks, creams, lotions; as spice in wine-making and alcoholic beverage industry.
