Natural area:
Central Asia: Sirdarya river bed, Pamir-Alay and Tien-Shan mountain ranges.
Conditions of growth:
On stony gravel slopes, cliffs, gravel benches, in river beds, juniper grooves, up to upper-mountain zone.
Period of collection:
August – September.
Collection method:
Manual; transportation to production site within 3-12 hours.
Material processing:
Steam distillation, for receiving ether oil
Components specification:
Alpha-pinene, camphene, borneol, vinegar acid, Capron acid, camphor, bornyl acetate, 2-metylbutanol, sabinene, α-terpinene, n-cymol, 1,8-cineol etc.
