Ciscaucasia, Dagestan, Central Asia: Sirdarya river, Pamir-Alay, Tien-Shan mountain ranges.
Conditions of growth:
On gravel benches in river beds, on stony, loamy, sandy soils, on open slopes, meadows, amid shrubberies, from foot-heels to mid-mountain zone.
Period of collection:
June - August.
Collection method:
Manual; transportation to production site within 3-12 hours.
Material processing:
Steam distillation, for receiving ether oil
Components specification:
Camphene, α- thuione, α-pinene, β-phelandrene, limonene, linalool, eucalyptol, citronellal, camphor, borneol, menthon, menthol etc.
Major components:
Linalool (17%), eucalyptol (14%)
Features of the oil:
Antibacterial, fungicid, hemostatic, choleretic, aromatisator.
